1. What is euroconsumerpanel?
Euroconsumerpanel is a series of applications and techniques developed and managed by B & B.com consultants S.P.R.L., a private limited company, having its headquarters at 17 rue du Berger, 1050 Brussels and registered with the BCE under the number 0469.913.035. Its purpose is to collect information on consumer habits and study target markets by analysing and interpreting the data collected via the site www.euroconsumerpanel.com.2. How to participate?
To participate all you have to do is register on our site www.euroconsumerpanel.com. By registering you agree to transmit to us your e-mail address and complete an online questionnaire, the answers to which will be used to create a database. Everyone who registers (called a “member”) explicitly agrees that his/her data can be processed to the extent required by the objectives pursued by B & B.com in accordance with honest practices in such matters. The personal data collected will be kept as long as necessary for processing purposes pursuant to this charter.
3. What are members paid?
After you have completed the online questionnaire which is intended to ascertain your habits and centres of interest, you may be contacted by B & B.com consultants, depending on your profile and the target market concerned, and asked to participate in interviews, surveys, meetings, etc. In such a case, B & B.com consultants will pay the expenses incurred by a member in travelling to and participating in the interviews, surveys, meetings, etc. The amount of these expenses will be paid directly to members at the end of their participation.
4. What is the purpose of collecting such information?
The information collected is used to offer high-quality services to companies that order our market research.
5. How will this information be used?
Thanks to the original marketing tools developed, B & B.com consultants analyses and interprets the results obtained in order to help companies in their strategic decision-making. All members registered on the site www.euroconsumerpanel.com authorise B & B.com consultants to process and communicate the information provided by them to its business partners and contracting partners, except for their identity and e-mail address which will be used exclusively by B & B.com consultants.
6. Is my information treated as confidential?
We protect the information that you have entrusted to us by adhering to rigorous and restrictive security and confidentiality standards, and by implementing technical and organisational measures to prevent any loss, destruction, modification or unauthorised processing of your data. These measures include in particular technical, organisational and contractual measures intended to ensure that employees and subcontractors respect the confidentiality of data. Access to data is restricted to people who need such access in order to carry out the tasks entrusted to them and is controlled to avoid any unnecessary or unauthorised processing or modifications. B & B.com consultants can in no event be held liable for any direct or consequential losses resulting from any incorrect or improper use of personal data. Your personal and confidential data are stored at B & B.com consultants. They are used for drawing up reports on consumer trends and habits but are in no event transmitted to our clients. You e-mail address is also treated as confidential and only the producer of the database can use it to communicate with you strictly within the framework of the objectives pursued by B & B.com consultants. Moreover, B & B.com consultants complies with the law of 11/03/2003 on spam.
7. What about protection of privacy?
The producer of the database undertakes to comply scrupulously with the Belgian law of 8 December 1992 on the processing of personal data for all data processed and collected in Belgium via the site www.euroconsumerpanel.com and kept in its files. This means that, pursuant to the said law, you are entitled to access your data and rectify or modify them by clicking the corresponding button in the “my profile” section.
8. What if I want to unsubscribe or update my data?
You can terminate your relationship with B & B.com consultants at any time via the site www.euroconsumerpanel.com by simply following the unsubscription procedure. You can also consult and/or modify your personal data at any time. You can obtain further information from the Commission for the Protection of Privacy (www.privacycommission.be) which is responsible for ensuring compliance with the law and to which B & B.com consultants has declared its data processing activities in order to ensure complete transparency.
9. Do I need to update my data?
Yes, every member registered on the site www.euroconsumerpanel.com agrees to provide a certain number of personal data and to ensure that they are kept fully updated at all times. In the case of inaccurate data, the producer of the database reserves the right to suspend the registration and/or access to the service provided.
10. Modification or discontinuation of the service
B et B.com consultants reserves the right to modify or interrupt all or part of the service, and even to discontinue it, and also to modify this charter, without members being entitled to claim any compensation. However, B & B.com consultants shall not make any substantial changes without giving prior notice to its members. If a member has not unsubscribed, he/she shall be deemed to have accepted the changes made to the service and this charter. B & B.com consultants shall have no liability for the content provided by persons other than itself on the site www.euroconsumerpanel.com and reserves the right to delete any non-compliant or harmful content. Moreover, in the case of hypertext links or hyperlinks with other sites present on the site www.euroconsumerpanel.com B & B.com consultants shall have no liability for the content of a linked site or for any product or service listed by the linked site which is managed by a person or entity other than B & B consultant. Neither a member nor B & B.com consultants shall be liable vis-à-vis the other party for the non-performance or any delay in performing an obligation pursuant to this charter where such a failure or delay is caused by reasons beyond or outside the control of the other party.
11. Members’ undertakings regarding the use of the service
Members undertake: - to ensure that their content is complete, accurate and relevant; - to ensure that neither they nor another person having access to their account will use the service for illegal, harmful or dubious purposes; - not to disrupt or interrupt the network connected to the service or servers of third parties; - not to hinder the use and functioning of the service or any other similar service; - use the service and tools provides by B & B.com consultants as they are available on the site www.euroconsumerpanel.com, without any guarantees whatsoever, in particular as regards the absence of interruptions or errors, the performances and results obtained by using the site or the member’s own specific requirements; - to behave honestly, responsibly and in a comprehensible way and to comply with all laws and codes of conduct as well as Internet procedures.
12. Termination
B & B.com consultants may terminate its relationship with a member at any time without any obligation to give prior notice or pay compensation. Members may terminate their participation in the programme at any time by clicking the corresponding button on the site www.euroconsumerpanel.com (via the “my account” section).
13. Copyright
The database and the computer programmes used for producing and operating the database are the property of B & B.com consultants S.P.R.L. and are protected by the law of 30 June 1994 on copyright and related rights. Any extract or re-utilisation of all or part of the content is prohibited. It is a criminal offence to circumvent any technical protective measure with a view to facilitating an infringement of such copyright protection.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
The relationship between B & B.com consultants and its members shall be governed by the laws of Belgium. Any dispute regarding the interpretation, performance or validity of this charter shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Brussels.
